TABULATION (1) A beautiful girl, not wishing to marry the man her father has chosen for her, carries off her fine clothes and escapes to the wood.-- (2) She dons a cloak and goes to take service. Her master frequently hits her with a brush and throws water over her head.-- (3) There is a ball given in the town, to which master goes. Heroine dresses up and goes too, and puzzles her master, telling him she comes from a place where they hit you with a brush and throw water over your head.
