Andrew Lang's Colored Fairy Books A hundred years before "multicultural" became the buzzword, Andrew Lang with the uncredited editorial assistance of his wife, compiled 12 volumes of fairy tales gathered from around the world. With black and white illustrations by H. J. Ford and Lancelot Speed, these volumes have remained popular for generations. Although out of copyright and available as eBooks around the web, the print editions are still valuable parts of a folklore library. These books are recommended for all readers.
