I am really loving the free association aspect of this discussion - I hope you keep it going! Avolondeb, thanks for the input on your experience with synchronization. Anuda, I haven't read Anne Rice, but her new book on Jesus' childhood intrigues me - I may have to pick up a book or two of hers. Veronica, lol about the menfolk. Rosemary, I LOVE C.S. Lewis! Screwtape Letters is my favorite, and just reread all the Narnia books as they've been put out again because of the movie. I never heard of "Til We Have Faces", and I'll have to find it IMMEDIATELY. Seen the Onion article on "intelligent falling"? Gravity, too, is only a scientific "theory."

There it is AGAIN! Saw the new Harry Potter movie last night (we went to the 11pm showing LOL) and the bad guy needed some of Harry Potter's blood for a crucial spell. Dang! Can't get away from it!
Alas, back to the drawing board AGAIN for me - the movie's bad guy looked EXACTLY the way MY book's bad guy was supposed to appear. Sheesh! Glee
