white as milk
Hello,
I'm looking for fairy tales where the whiteness of the child/hero
(Snow White, The
Juniper Tree) is compared not to snow, but to milk. For the
moment I can think just of The Three Pomegranates, an Italian fairy
tale in which a prince desires a bride red as blood and white as
milk... Thanks for any idea!

Re: white as milk
The folksong "The Twa Magicians" uses that comparison...
She looked out at the window
as white as any milk
and he looked in at the window
as black as any silk.
Hello, hello, hello, hello you coal black smith
...
(I'da thought I knew more folktales than songs, but seems like songs come to mind :) This one has a Child's number, but I don't remember what it is - shouldn't be hard to find though.)
