Dragons in fairy tales?
It seems like there should be a lot of dragon tales that come immediately to mind, but I'm having a hard time thinking of ANY fairy tales that feature a dragon.
Can you all think of any? Especially useful would be tales that are featured in their own book.
Thanks,
Alina

Dragons in fairy tales
Try Russian folk tales - no specific titles spring to mind but dragons appear in quite a few. 'Fairies' per se aren't mentioned in Russian literature but they do have their own creatures such 'leshiye' and 'rusalka.'

Re: Dragons in fairy tales
There's a dragon in the Grimm's "Twin Brothers" with seven heads. This is probably the main source for the connection between fairy tales and dragons.
Dragons are also a part of Chinese mythology, though I can't think of any Chinese stories with dragons.

Re: Dragons in fairy tales
Try searching for "dragon" on the front page of SurLaLune's search box. A few tales come up with dragons at least mentioned in them.
