Elizabeth Taylor's Sleeping Beauty
I wonder, has anyone here read The
Sleeping Beauty
by Elizabeth Taylor? Not the oft-wedded actress, but a novelist
who wrote this book in, oh, 1953, I think. If you have read it,
what do you think? I haven't yet read it, and I'm curious.

Re: Elizabeth Taylor's Sleeping Beauty
Veronica,
have you found a copy and read this yet? I was wondering if it was worth hunting down myself. I need to add it to SurLaLune, at least.

Sleeping Beauty
You know, a few other books I wanted to look at finally arrived at the library, so I still haven't gotten around to reading it, and it looks like I'll have to move on to a different phase of research now. I'm sorry. If I find some spare time I'll try to read it and let you know.

Re: Sleeping Beauty
Argh. I jotted down the call number for this one, but haven't yet pulled it (it's in our moveable stacks in the basement). I'll see what I can do in the next few weeks.

Re: Elizabeth Taylor's Sleeping Beauty
Hi There, I am researching SB retellings for Young Adults, and this Sleeping Beauty has cropped up on a website as a YA book. However, I cannot find it here, and can't seem to find a review on it either, so would love to hear your thoughts on whether it could be included as a YA retelling, and perhaps a brief synopsis?? Many thanks, Sam in NZ.
