Fairytale Vacations--- historical sites?
I have a little extra money for a vacation this summer and wanted to do something that might, in some way, tie into my interest in fairytales, such as going to a place that historically tied into folklore or was the site of an author's house or some such. Then, of course, there's always Disney. Any ideas?

If you are considering Europe...
...I suggest the German fairy tale road:

All or part of it, just be aware that Germany is hosting the soccer worldcup in June, which would be a bad (read also expensive) time to travel for interests other than soccer!
Greetings, Lotti

Mythic Places
Our Endicott Studio board actually has a forum for Mythic sites to visit--with some fun suggestions:
p090.ezboard.com/fendicottstudioformythicartsfrm24
There's a site on mazes in England, outrageous fairy tale gardens out of mosiac in Barcelona, London, Italy, places in Prague (the fairy tale city). But if you're really adventurous read Sirensong Blog by Caroline Martin who is traveling trhough India. Fabulous...will have you packing. (if you go back to her Feb. posts read about the Tibetan Kalachakra celebrations...)
