Chinese/WesternWorld Connections?
Hello.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for finding connetions in folklore, fairtales or biblical/religious myths between China and N.America/Europe.

I'm particularly interested tales containing references to turtles.

Also Kubla Khan or the I-Ching.

Thanks for your help.

This is really a big question...too big. For instances there are many fairy tales that have variants both in the Western World and in China. But it's hard to know where to begin without knowing what you might need this particular information for--a comparative paper perhaps?

When you mentioned about turtles, it reminds me a chinese myth. The goddess Nu Wa took a giant tortoise's four legs to sustain sky in case it would fall down again.
Besides, I guess you could use "flood","turtle", "earth-diver" as key words to search the internet.

How about Cinderella? One of the oldest in the book.
