A good search term might be "talking animals". That should bring up material about the sort of modern stories that are made to teach children lessons etc, like Bernstein Bears. Then you could search for /concept/ + "fairy tale" to see what others have said about it in fairy tales.
Or you could try "talking animals" + "fairy tales" etc.
