Fairy Tale Web Comics?
Does anyone know of any web comics with fairy tale themes?
I've seen sites like this that are new fairy tales:
www.webcomicsnation.com/gc/greenhollow/
www.webcomicsnation.com/gc/greenhollow/
And I've seen sites like this that are fantasy themed, but don't really have to do with fairy tales:
www.spellsandwhistles.net/
http://www.spellsandwhistles.net/
These are both fun and well-written and I actually like them a lot, but I'm looking for classic fairy tale type webcomics. Does anyone know of any?

Try www.forthewicked.net/
- the author's in the middle of an interesting story line as we
speak!

If you're into print you could look at Elfquest (their site is elfquest.com). It's been around for at least a decade and their website has some online comics.

Re: Fairy Tale Web Comics?
If you've got 50 cents try Wary Tales Very cool project.
plus here's this from the archives:
www.surlalunefairytales.com/boardarchives/2003/nov2003/webcomics.html It's from 03...so not sure how good all the links are in it--but worth a try.

suburban fairy tales
www.suburbanfairytales.com
It's a comic strip about fairy tale characters living in modern suburbia.

Fables
Fables
is just a regular comic, but it's great - it's about fairy tale
characters who are living in our world, they've been driven out
of theirs by an evil power.. really cool storyline.

Re: Fables
Fables is doing a version of Arabian Nights...Charles Vess just sent me files of the art--a collaboration between him and Kaluta. Knock out stuff...

Re: Fables
Anything Vess does is always beautiful - I don't know that you still call what he does "comicbook art" anymore!
This again falls into the print category, but Serena Valetino's
two graphic novel collections, Nightmares
and Fairy Tales, are well worth a look.

Golden
I'm glad someone mentioned No Rest for the Wicked. It's a fabulous webcomic. The same author/illustrator is collaborating on another more humorous fairy tale webcomic titled Golden
home.comcast.net/%7Eron_p...olden.html.
I most certainly think the denizens and visitors of this site will appreciate it.

Fables is not online although you can find some information about the comic online. It is a regular print edition comic and well worth picking up for any one even slightly interested in fairy tales. This is a great resource for info but you must beware spoilers.
