Fairy Tales of Marie-Catherine Baronne d'Aulnoy
I'm in the process of etexting the 1892 edition of The Fairy Tales of Madame d'Aulnoy. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time they will be appearing on the web in their entirety. Pretty much only Andrew Lang's versions of some of her tales have been readily available online until now. When I'm finished there will be 24 tales plus an introduction by Anne Thackeray Ritchie.
I'm still considering adding Roalfe Cox's Cinderella at some point, but the editing and formating is a beast, so maybe not. For now, enjoy the largest collection of d'Aulnoy's fairy tales in English.

Just stumbled across this today. Thank you for putting this up. Just read "The Golden Branch." I'd read the Andrew Lang version as a kid, but not the other translation.
You might want to do a find on the word "sonic" in the text. It's there twice where your OCR software transcribed it in place of "some" and there were a few other errors of the same sort, but nothing as major.
But thanks greatly for putting this up. I'm designing a D&D campaign in the flavor of the tales and it's great to have them here to point player to.

I proofed each story a few times, but a 534 page book is hard to scan, OCR, and edit without several mistakes slipping through, unfortunately. If anyone else sees glaring mistakes, please feel free to share them here so I can make changes. The words that aren't caught by the spellcheck are the hardest to find, especially since I have to keep ignoring the British and archaic spellings at the same time.
PS: I'm working very, very slowing on Marian Roalfe Cox's Cinderella book. It is probably going to take months since the foreign languages are a beast and the formatting doesn't lend itself to webpages as a traditional collection of tales does. I'm trying to decide how to format it all for easier access and usage while maintaining the content. A challenge but worthwhile. But since I still do this all for "fun" in my spare time, it is going to take a while.
