O.K. so this is my final Snowdrop film treatment!
So everyone knows that I've been struggling to get the perfect script ready for a Snowdrop adaptation. So here it is a deatailed plot outline of my dark, sensual horror version of Snowdrop(Snow White). There are still some problems, which I'm hoping that someone can help me fix.
While traveling back home with his man of arms, Prince Casper stumbles upon a maiden in a glass casket close to the home of a group of deformed, mask wearing miners. One of them tells him the story of the beautiful princess Snowdrop and how she came to be with them.
It all began one snowy, winter afternoon, the queen Mary was sewing a shirt as she pricked her finger and 3 drops of blood fell upon the snow. She wished for the child who was growing in her womb to be as white as snow, red as blood, and black as ebony. Soon, the huntsman Samuel enters, telling Mary about her lover, Adrian(Samuel's brother) who has just been killed, leaving her a relic to remember him by, a beautiful mirror.
Mary and Adrian have delt with the black arts. Adrian has put his soul in the mirror to stay with Mary for every, so everyday he assures her that she is in fact the fairest one of all. Until that one day...
Mary soon begins to see demons in her mirrors, taunting her and frightening her. She soon decides to put an end to her young daughter, so she gets Samuel to take her away and cut out her lungs and liver. Samuel can't kill his young niece so he sends her off, where she meets the miners.
Somehow, I do want Adrian to become Samuel once Mary kills him for betraying her. Then Mary and Adrian both plot on how to put an end to Snowdrop, ultimatly using black magic.
After that I'm lost. I know Mary finds out from the mirror(but how if Adrian is now human agian?) then she gos through the 3 fold attempt to kill Snowdrop. Then, that is where I'm really lost. What do I do with Adrian. I know the queen dies from the red hot shoes, but Adrian?
At oen point, I was even thinking about Adrian coming back through Snowdrop's blood splling into his grave site as a nasty, slimy creature, who can become human with out a sacrifice(Samuel), but I don't know how I could make sense of all of it.
Any ideas? Concerns? Questions? Help?

Adrian isn't dead. Samuel lied. Samuel, out of jealously, had trapped Adrian in the mirror...
.
The Queen, after learning of Samuels wilful failure to kill Snowdrop, and in a rage of vioent anger, casts Samuel into the mirror, unknowling making a way for Adrian to get out.
.
Later she learns that Adrian may, someday, escape, but there is a "time" and/or "task" problem, thus the "long sleep"... Now the Queen is glad Samuel failed. She doesn't want Snowdrop dead because she hopes to take over Snowdrop's body, so holds it in suspended animation, waiting for Adrian to, somehow, escape from the mirror...
.
After (or before) all that is accomplished, along comes the "good" guy and destoys the "evil"...
.
