Re: Il Pentamerone stories
Sleeping Beauty is known as "The Sun and the Moon and Talia". I've discussed in an article I wrote on Sleeping Beauty for Endicott Sutdio:

Re: Il pentamerone stories
Snow White is usually known as the Young Slave while Sleeping Beauty is usually known as Sun, Moon, and Talia.
You can read about other variants of the tales at Tales Similar to Snow White and Tales Similar to Sleeping Beauty.

"SUN MOON AND TALIA"
Hello Midori
I began my research and music research for "Sun moon and Talia"
I will perform in Autumn
So i would like to exchange thoughts with you
and i try to find the best translation of the tale i like this of Edward Taylor in 1850 ,but are some parts also intersting in the translation of Richard Burton
What you think?
and do you know may be where i can find the translation that says that Talia before going in fire she had in her dress unseized bells... i read it from your informations you give about Sun moon and Talia
I always begin the research of the story and after i go into the music i just began the music composition
hope you receive my message

Re: "SUN MOON AND TALIA"
Hi Marika!
I am currently away from home...and all my books and notes! Let me post again when I am home next week and I can give you few more specifics! I just don't want to lead to the wrong sources.
