Loup garou myth
Hi-
I recently heard a story about how a loup garou would appear to a mother in a dream, and offer her a gift. If the mother accepted the gift, the child belonged to the loup garou; if not, the child was protected. This sparked my imagination and I'm planning to write a story based around the idea, but I honestly can't find out anything else about the specific myth on either Wikipedia or Google. If anyone could give me any more details, I'd be extremely grateful.

Loop Guru music group
There's a music group I once saw called Loop Guru. If you contacted them I'll bet they have info on the myth!
Here's their site:

Re: Loup garou myth
If you look in the archives of Sur La Lune, you will find a thread on le Loup Garou around 2003. Quite a good one. Good luck !

Re: Loup garou myth
www.surlalunefairytales.c...garou.html
[A quick way to search the archives via Google would be something like:
"Loup Garou" site:surlalunefairytales.com
You can use this technique to search any site that Google indexes. Note that there's no space between the semicolon and the start of the site you want to index (that gets me every time).]
