Cinderella Film
Does anyone else know of a movie entitled "Cinderella" ( I believe), in which the God0mother was a mermaid and her slippers were made of flower petals? I desperately want information about this film ( to eventually buy it), please help!

Well, the good news is, I've found out some more about this film. the bad news is, it was a made for TV movie, so I may not ba able to buy it... any ideas?

Please share the information you found, such as title and when it aired, and we might be able to help a little more. But most likely you will have to hunt for a lender copy online somewhere.

I think I know which one it is
Did it have Kathleen Turner as the stepmother and DAvid Warner as the fater? If so, it was a made for TV film from the late 90's. It's impossible to track down, because no screeners were made and the film was overlooked when it first aired, much like the great series called From The Brothers Grimm.
I've never seen this film, but it's gotton great reviews and I'm dying to see it. I don't even know what channel it came on.

Yup, thats the one. It was one of the best renditions of the tale I've ever seen. it was first aired on New Years Day. However, I saw it on "The W Network" quite a few months ago. ( I live in Canada). If you ever get the chance to watch the film, please do. It was very interesting.
