Art show
Now this isn't solely fairy tale related, but I'm having a solo show of my boxes titled "Seen in the Night". Most of my work is based on myth and fairy tales. If you haven't seen it already, feel free to take a look at my website:

The show is at ARC Gallery in Chicago, 734 N. Milwaukee. I've included boxes that hang from the ceiling, have electric lights and one with a "twisted" little music box. Lots of fun! The opening reception is this Friday, September 2, 6-9pm. I'd love to see you there. If you can't make it, the show is up until September 24.

Thanks! I'd love to show my stuff in England but the cost of shipping all those boxes would be prohibitive. Maybe someday...
On the plus side, the opening went really well. I sold a piece about ten minutes into it which is always nice. The box is going to Korea! My boxes are becoming bigger world travelers than I am. :D

Connie, the show sounds great. In an ideal world (?) I'd drop everything and jet over there for a few days to see the artworks in the flesh-and you, too, of course ! By the way, I think your Remedios Varo influence is growing even stronger. :):) |
