 Robert Coover
I am interested in using Coover's Briar Rose in my dissertation but hadnt heard of him until recently.

I was just wondering if he is critically acclaimed and if critical material if available on him?

 Re: Robert Coover
The short answer is yes, and yes. Just to double-check that short answer, I did a brief search in the MLA Int. Bibliography and judging from the long list of results, you shouldn't have much trouble finding information about Coover. Hope this helps,

 Re: Robert Coover
The MLA database, despite being the Modern Language Association based in America that it is, is as far as I know generally accepted as the clearing house for listings critical work in language and literature. British criticism published in scholarly publications would be listed there; the only way to find out the origin of the crit, as far as I know, would be to check the about-the-author listings for each article.
