Rafe Martin's Birdwing
Has anyone read Rafe Martin's Birdwing? It is a continuation of the Grimms' "The Six Swans." Published last month by Scholastic's Arthur Levine Books.

Re: Rafe Martin's Birdwing
I read it recently and was surprised when I went looking to see nary a review about. So far, I've only found Kirkus, Bookpage, and just this past weekend, Elizabeth Ward's in the Washington Post. All have been quite enthusiastic. I find it a bit nervewracking to suddenly come across a new book, like it a lot, and then hear nothing much about it! (I'm on a committee to select notable children's books for the language arts so see and read and think a lot about new books.)
I'm eager to hear feedback from folks here (since you all have a particularly appreciation of modern fairy tale variants) on this one. Hope some of you give it a try!
Thanks,
Monica
