 goddess of literature
something nagging at the edge of my mind - searching for goddess of literature, books, reading...

what i have so far:

saraswati
seshat
baalat ?

seem to remember joseph campbell showing particular interest in a goddess of books...cannot find reference

Although not of "books" as we think of them today, the Greeks had their Muses, who presided over epic poetry, tragedy, lyric poetry, comic poetry, history, etc.
