Clotho help
Hi, I'm working on a greek mythology skit project for a class, and the character I got is Clotho or Nona of the 3 fates. I need help, because I can't find what stories Clotho is most famous for. If anyone could give me a quick summary of some stories she is heavily involved in, or what she is famous for, or at least direct me to a site where I could find this, I would really appreciate it. I need the info tonight so if you can please post as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Clotho
This might help, for starters:
www.pantheon.org/articles/c/clotho.html
It's also the name of a sculpture by Camille Claudel, Rodin's student and lover.

As to fairy tales, there are fates-esque figures in East of the Sun, West of the Moon . . .

Re: Clotho
The story I've seen with the most extended scene with the fates is Admetus and Alcestis, in which Apollo finds out that his human friend Admetus is doomed to die in a very short time, and tries to convince Atropos to not cut the life-thread (in the version I read, Clothos and Lachesis are willing to relent, while Atropos refuses; there might be a bit where they convince her to wait until the end of the day). Then Alcestis, Admetus' wife, volunteers to die in his stead. Fortunately Hercules comes by in time to defeat Death in a wrestling match, who leaves and refuses to go back.
