Off-topic - UK Check?
I'm a bit incoherent right now, but setting up a spot for Londoners to check in seemed like it might not be a bad idea ...
My most sincere sympathies are with you.

Yes, please check in
I will never forget your words of sympathy and concern over 911. The same hopes for your safety and families' safety. And empathy for what I know you are going through right now.

checking in
I am not a Londoner, but I do go there from time to time, having family and friends in the capital. I am okay, so are they, though there is a lot of shock and, naturally, much concern for all the bereaved and maimed.
A bit off topic but Tavistock Square, where the bus blew up, has a lovely public garden with a statue of Gandhi in it (how ironic is that ?) If you find yourself in London, do go.
thank you for your concern

Sympathies
I contacted all my closest friends and relatives in London, heard from all but one--HarperUK children's book editor Sue Buswell. My agent hadbeen on the same train the day before.
I hold all the grieving London families In the Light.
