P.L. Travers in the New Yorker
There's a terrific article on P.L. Travers by Caitlin Flanagan in
The New Yorker magazine, available online here: www.newyorker.com/fact/content/articles/051219fa_fact1
P.L. Travers, of course, was the author of
Mary Poppins, as well as many articles on myth and fairy tales, collected in books such as
What the Bee Knows and
About the Sleeping Beauty.

Re: P.L. Travers in the New Yorker
Book Channel in Canada has a documentary about her on Sunday called "In The Shadow of Mary Poppins."
