Ghost tales - psychology
Hello all,
I'm wondering if any of you know of any ghost stories that lend themselves more to psychological interpretation, especially about a ghost continuing to haunt someone who is still living. Thanks, Scott

Re: Ghost tales - psychology
"The Mezzotint" by M R James. A bit peculiar, and also a tad tongue-in-cheek, but perhaps useful. Also, perhaps the perfect ghostly tale for psychoanalysis must be Shirley Jackson's "The Haunting of Hill House" I still can't decide if the house is really haunted, or if Eleanor is just plain crazy. And I've read it probably a dozen times. Why do you ask? I'm curious.;)

Henry James' "Turn of the Screw" is all about psychology. As with redtriskell, I'm curious why you want to know.
Best,
Alice
