DULAC'S ILLUSTRATIONS
:D I was just browsing your page of newly published books available from Amazon when I found, joy of joys, DULAC'S ILLUSTRATIONS IN FULL COLOUR by Dover Publications. :D I've loved this man's work since happening upon it on this site 2 or 3 years ago, and I've been frustrated by the lack of material . I looked into buying secondhand books featuring his work but they were SO expensive-I do believe they are genuinely rare these days. So this book is ideal. Hardly any text, just FIFTY wonderful illustrations. I noticed, Heidi, you'd written a review for Amazon. I agree they'd be very nice for framing. I have the Rackham book in the same series and the quality of printing is excellent.
Just thought I'd post up my enthusiasm !

Re: DULAC'S ILLUSTRATIONS
I was excited, too, hence the image on the front of SurLaLune. Now I just wish Dover would give similar treatment to Walter Crane, Kay Nielsen, and Warwick Goble.
And here's a link for anyone else:

DULAC
Thank you, Heidi, for also pointing me towards Dulac's illustrations of Hans Christian Andersen. As soon as these books of postcards appear-any day soon, I suspect-I will order TWO-one to keep, one for actually sending to people.:D

And also. . .
Sorry-this was meant to be at the end of the previous. No matter. What I was going to say is : as well as Walter Crane, they could do a fully-illustrated Kay Nielsen as well. Why is that man so poorly represented these days, I wonder.

Re: And also. . .
I totally agree. I had mean to type that in my original post. Dover printed Dore years ago, so Nielsen, Crane, and Goble top my wish list. Then perhaps Harry Clarke. And a more comprehensive edition of the Robinson brothers would be wonderful.
Wishes, wishes, wishes,
Heidi
