Please help me find an illustration
Last night I found an illustration of a princess or lady that I can't find now. Can someone pleeeeeeease help me with this. The Illustration is of the lady from about the waist up, she is facing forward, her right arm (left side of the picture to the viewer) is bent and her right hand is near her right shoulder, and there is a butterfly on her right hand.
I believe it is an illustration from a fairy tale book.

Did you find this illustration on this site or did you come across it on Amazon or somesuch? Do you remember any of the colors? It sounds vaguely familiar, but...

Jessica, I thought I found it on the SurLaLune site but I have spent all night looking at all of the illustrations here and couldn't find it again. So maybe I had ventured to one of the links on the site. I really can't remember. My head is swimming right now with images. You see, I am creating a fairy tale story/book about how my girlfriend and I met and I plan to incorporate it into a marriage proposal to her over the holidays. I've been working on it for several days and this is the last image I need to complete it.

It sounds like something by K. Y. Craft. She has done a lot of art dealing with beautiful ladies and butterflies. I would definetely try searching the web for artwork by K. Y. Craft.

I did a search on K.Y. Craft, and I found a picture that fits your
description. It's the cover to her "Cupid and Psyche"
book that she illustrated. It can be found at her website: www.kycraft.com.
Click on Children's Books, and that will take you to it. I hope it's what you're looking for.
