 Storytelling
I guess some Sur La Luners will already be involved in storytelling but I thought I'd post a couple of links for those of you who want to get more involved:

              www.sfs.org.uk/
              (U.K.)

              www.storynet.org/
              (U.S.)

 Re: Storytelling
Thanks alot for these sites! I went ahead and put them onthe Endicott Bulletin Board too....after spending about an hour reading through them. These are great.

 Synchronicity
That's perfectly synchronous of you Midori. I was browsing the Endicott links yesterday (hours of fun!) and I realised that there was a dearth of live storytelling stuff so I decided to post some here!

It then occurred to me that Katrina53 might find them useful too.

One of my U.S. Georgian friends keeps sending me invitations to her local storytelling event but I always find excuses not to go. Maybe one day... once upon a time...

On which subject can I expand this thread to include a pet obsession of mine?

Q to everyone: how do you begin and end your stories when you tell them? And supplementary Q: is your style traditional or from your family or all your very own?

My mother tended to begin with "Once upon a time..." and she ended with the excellent phrase, "There's bread and cheese upon the shelf. If you want any more you must tell it yourself..."

Any others?
