fairy tales/ horror films
i am writing a dissertation on the translation of fairy tales by the grimms and the use of the language to sugar over originally dark stories. i am comparing this to the way that the media today use certain methods to talk about tragedy ie; kidnappings, and murders etc.. i am also looking into the idea of horror films using the same structure of fairy tales. eg; female protagonist, villain, situation etc.
i was wondering whether anyone would have any ideas at all? any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks :D
