Literary agents
I know a lot of the members/visitors here are published authors and artists and was wondering whether anyone could recommend literary agents who specialise in faerie/fantasy related material?
I have done a bit of research on the web, and it seems acceptable to submit work for consideration to agents in countries other than your own.
I have a smallish list of names already, but would appreciate any advice.

Re: Literary agents
I know mostly children's book agents. Is that what you are talking about?

Lit agents
More young adult, but do agents 'cross-over' into other age group genres? That is, if I submitted to a children's agent would they still consider the work if it was directed at an older market?

Re: Lit agents
Some agents will do crossover, usually a children's book agent can easily cross, but for some reason people who work almost exclusively in adult books find children's book field a mysterious and frightening place.
SCBWI has a list of agents, very helpful. And you should probably join anyway.

Thanks Jane, for your advice re SCBWI. I have come across that site quite a few times now and was wondering whether I should join it, so I think I will this week sometime.
