Mythic Journeys conference update
Hey all,
As the time draws nearer for the Mythic Journeys conference I thought that I would
post an update, especially as they just developed a beautiful new and wonderfully
designed website.
For those of you who aren't aware of the Mythic Journeys conference yet, it will be
held in Atlanta during early June of next year and feature psychologists,
mythologists, authors, painters, poets, dancers, musicians, etc., all experts in
their respective fields, in a public discussion of the meaning and importance of
myth to our contemporary world. This type of extensive, cross disciplinary
discussion has never been attempted before and I think that the results should
be pretty spectacular.
Some of our board members such as Jane Yolen, Terri Windling, Delia Sherman,
and myself will be featured guests along with a very impressive list of other
talents.
Details are on their website:

Enjoy!

Re: Mythic Journeys conference update
Someone forwarded "Mythic Passages" (the Mythic Journeys newsletter) to me. I liked what I've read there, particularly the article on Ms. Windling's "The Wood Wife". Got me looking at angles I never considered while reading the tale.

Re: Mythic Journeys conference update
Just a reminder for anyone considering the conference, the registration fees will increase on Saturday, November 1, so now might be a good time to check your calendars.

Not quite THAT bad...
Actually, the price increase (or the reduced discount, depending on how you look at it) doesn't happen until DECEMBER 1. That's because it took us a lot longer to get registration and the new Web site up than we'd planned.
