Grimm: The Illustrated Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm
Anyone interested in modern illustrations of the Grimms' tales, might look at this new book. I have provided links to it on Amazon and a German bookstore which shows more of the interior images. These aren't your usual illustrations.

I wasn't familiar with any of these illustrators, but perhaps the experts on board are. The book looks to be a beautiful purchase, especially if it suits your taste in art.

For some reason, the cover illustration reminds me of Aubrey Beardsley.

Grimm illustration
Heidi,
A very interesting version. It is a German publication - yes? I don't recognize *any* of the illustrators or publisher - but then that would make sense. Some of those samples on the German link look like anime or graphic novel-styled illustrations.
Interesting take. Thanks for pointing it out.
