Classes
Hi all! This is my first time posting. I was so excited when I found this website! It's beautifully done, I must say, but that's not why I'm posting. I am a longtime fan of fairy tales and folklore. I am also a college student but my college only has one class on mythology and it's just Greek mythology (which I still love). However, I am interested in taking classes on folklore and I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any colleges that have programs on mythology/folklore (I know they are often grouped together), anything along those lines. I live in the Mid-West so anything close to there would be great. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Classes
Ohio State (my alma mater) has a great folklore studies department. Although I didn't major in folklore studies, I did use the department as a resource while I was writing my Master's Thesis.
Here's a link to the department's website:

Good Luck!

Re: Classes
The University of Pennsylvania also has a Folklore Department and program to go with it.
