I really need help with my essay
Hi! I am new to this website and I am having a difficult time right now. I am writing an essay for Comparitive Literature class and my topic is " In what ways can Basile's Frame Story and Conclusion of Il Pentamerone influence Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella?" I have found some ways that Basile's work has influenced them, but I need three outside sources, which I cannot find!!! My texts are "Spells of Enchantment" and "Classic Fairytales and Folklore" I would greatly appreciate any insight.

a few suggestions
So you want "outside sources": OK here's a few of my favourites.
Marina Warner, From the Beast to the Blonde. Is one of my favourite sources of Fairy Tale criticism.
Alan Dundes wrote a work called Cinderella: A case book. Should be good for your topic.
And, Jack Zipes's Fairy Tales: The Literature of Subversion should help you in general terms. Anything by Zipes pre-1988 I find particularly useful.
I'm sure the other folks will be along in just a few seconds with further recommendations.

Actually, Alan Dundes EDITED CINDERELLA: A CASEBOOK. I know because I have an essay in it.
