can you help me find swan lake video??
I'm looking for the Japanese anime of swan lake made in 1978. i'm going crazy trying to find it. i REALLY love this film so If anybody knows where i could get a copy of this video please let me know.

I pasted a link to the movie's information on IMDB below. If this is the movie you are looking for, it doesn't appear that the movie is in print. If it ever was, probably the best place to look for it is on EBay on a regular basis.

I didn't sort through all of the titles on EBay, most of them are Barbie Swan Lake, but I saw this one listed:

Yes, the movie was once released on vhs, but it is no longer in
print. I have this movie (thanks to eBay), so I would have to say
that eBay is probably your best bet.

There are actually two dubs of this anime that I know of. I don't know if they're in print on VHS or DVD right now.
The first was the one we've got in our library on VHS, but I didn't really like the voices. Prince Siegfried had this girly-man voice...he sounded prepubescent! Odette sounded too young, too.
But a few weeks ago, on a local channel, they showed a dub that had been made in the early-to-mid 80s. I wish I'd taped it. It had Christopher Atkins, Pam Dawber and David Hemmings as voices. Siegfried sounded much better, and Odette actually sounded like an adult.
