confessions of an ugly stepsister
hi, I've been trying to find the movie for confessions of an ugly stepsister. i'm not sure if the movie has come out yet. if anybody knows when the movie will be released i will appriciate the information. thank you

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister
Is there a new version coming out, because there is a movie already
named that. I saw it last year(2002) in March when Disney was featuring
a different princess movie every Sunday for the month of March.
They billed it as A March Of Princesses, and another movie they
played was Hallmark's Snow White: Fairest of Them All. It starred
Stockard Channing as the Wicked Stepmother, and the girl who used
to play Zoe on WB's Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane as a Stepsister.
It was based on the book of the same name. It is somewhat faithful
to the original fairy tale, although there are many twists that
enhance the plot. I taped it but haven't watched it recently so
I forget some of it. I know that it is about a rich man who has
a daughter who is somewhat of a hermit. She is beautiful, and is
angry that everyone objectifies her beauty, rather than giving her
credit for being smart. When her father remarries, one of the stepsisters
helps bring the girl out of her seclusion and shows her how to enjoy
life. And since the prince has eyes for the Stepsister,the ending
turns out to be quite different. If you have any other questions,

The movie was made for ABC TV, but has not been released on DVD yet. Perhaps it will be eventually, but not anytime soon. It is more likely to rerun on ABC or ABC Family first.

artsfan, the prince does end up with Clara (Cinderella). Iris (the stepsister) ends up with another guy.
