 The ubiquitous Jane Yolen
Congrats to Jane and her seemingly never-ending creative juices. Read an article on her in USA Today last night - discussing her *7* books being published this spring, with more under contract.

Since I like her work so *very* much, I am very grateful that she is so profusive, and continues to be so published.

Hurray for Jane!

 Thank goodness for libraries
or we would all go broke trying to keep us with her proliferation of books!

Btw Jane, it was a delight meeting you. My son and I had a wonderful time at the conference.

 buying books
You should try the tack my relatives do. They all think I should give them free books, else they aren't interested! (I only give out free books to my kids and grandkids, or to relatives on big occasions. Or *I* would go broke.

 libraries
That's assuming your library can afford to get new books... unfortunately, living in California, there's a crunch on funding. I may have to save up for those new books myself, but it's worth it!

(I'm also completely amazed that you come here, Jane... I just stumbled onto SurLaLune trying to research my own fiction, and it's a bit surprising when you discover that you use the same resources as your favorite authors!)
