 Lady and the tramp
I am doing a paper on Disney and am trying to find out if "Lady and The Tramp" was based on a fairy tale or if it was an original Disney story. All help would be appreciated.

According to Internet Movie Database, the Disney movie was not based on a fairy tale but on a book by Ward Greene, titled "Happy Dan, the Whistling Dog."
