a little more specific
Can you refine your question just a bit? Are you interested in a particular fairy tale? or a particular myth? or even a particular culture? There is a relationship between these two forms of oral narrative--but how close it is depends on the culture and the tale. Are you looking mainly at European mythological traditions and fairy tales?

Humm? Let me see
Im not sure how to explain what Im looking for any better. I guess, are any fairy tales (the ones you maily hear about, Cinderella, snow white, little red ridding hood or actually any fairy tale in general) Maybe the older versions of these fairy tales might have links to mythology. Thank you...sorry if this doesn't help!

my 2 cents
It depends which experts you ask.

Some, for example, believe that Red Ridinghood has something to do with older myths about the rising and setting sun. There is a clearer connection between Beauty and the Beast (in my opinion) with the old Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche.

Etc.

Example
Yeah...thats kind of what Im looking for!!! Is there any more fairy tales that link back to mythology.

Example...this is not a fairy tale but all of Shakespears plays link back to mythology....The new movie~"O'Brother where Art thou" links back to mythology, The Odessey.

Graham Anderson ...
There's actually a book out there on this very topic: _Fairytales in the Ancient World_. It's well worth taking a look at. Anderson is a wonderful writer, and while I don't agree with all of his assertions, he makes a convincing case for the issue on the whole.

Classical Literature and Folklore
You may want to look at the recently published "Ariadne's Thread: A Guide to International Tales Found in Classical Literature" by William Hansen.
