Andrew Lang
does any one know if there is a book with all of his fairy tales in it, or are all of them in separate books. I know of the rainbow fairy tale book, but it only has a few tales from each book.

On-line
I believe all of his stories are available on-line. If you are looking for a hard copy, however, I don't know of one.

Re: Andrew Lang (and a note on Quiller-Couch)
Leah and all,

All but one of the twelve of Lang's fairy books are online. The most are available on Gutenberg.net, but Belinus.co.uk has three that Gutenberg does not. Alas, everyone has neglected the Green Fairy Book which has some wonderful tales in it. Gutenberg and Belinus also happen to have the best online fairy tale book collections while D. L. Ashliman has the best collection of tales sorted by tale type.

Here is the list:

The Brown Fairy Book on Gutenberg

The Grey Fairy Book on Belinus

The Pink Fairy Book on Belinus

Also, if you have never read Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch's retelling of Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Bluebeard, they are lovely and went with Edmund Dulac's illustrations. They are available online at Bartleby.com, another favorite text site, at:

www.bartleby.com/76/

The site includes some of Dulac's illustrations for these tales, but SurLaLune has them all. : )

Dover Books
Dover Publications ( <htt://www.doverpublications.com> ) carries the Andrew Lang fairy tale books. It has 12 of them (I don't know how many were published originally) including the Green Fairy Tale Book that someone mentioned, paperback, $8.95 each. I haven't purchased any of them yet though they are on my "to buy" list. I have bought many other things from Dover through the years and have always been happy with the products and the service. (Not affiliated, just a happy customer, etc.). If you don't want to buy on line, they have a free catalogue for mail order as well.
