Help!! Rumpelstiltskin Psychoanalysis
Hi, I'm doing a term paper for my high school Contemp. Lit class and I'm having trouble finding theories and analyses of the Rumpelstiltskin tale and its variants. If anyone has any information it'd be great!

Anti-semitism
I did an intro for a book on Holocaust literature, inwhich I discussed Rumplestiltskin as a possible anti-semitic tale: small man, lives outside of the town, unpronounceable name, large nose, strange customs, money changer (straw into gold) who wants to steal child for unspeakable blood rites.

Hello, I have a chapter on Rumpelstiltskin in my book, New Tales for Old. While I do not analyze the critical interpretations of this tale, I have collected them and summarized as many as I could find. It would certainly work as a starting place for your assignment. Gail
