Please help me figure out what fairy tale this is...
I am hoping someone can help me with this. I am pretty sure this is one of the old Faerie Tale Theatre movies......I know it is one in which Shelly Duval stars.....and its about this woman how becomes obsessed with radishes. Thats all she wants day and night....radishes. And I guess she has a neighbor who grows them and either her or her husband goes and steals some...and the neighbor is really a witch and comes and puts some spell on them or something.
My first thought was Rapunzel....but that just doesnt seem right.
Can anyone help me please! Thanks.

Sounds like Rapunzel to me. Radishes, leeks, onions,--I have seen variations of them all.

Yep, it's Rapunzel
Shelley Duvall starred in the Faerie Tale Theatre version of Rapunzel with Jeff Bridges and Gena Rowlands. The mother is the one obsessed with the food and is then forced to give up her daughter, Rapunzel, to the witch.
BTW, this is one of the episodes of the series available at most Barnes and Noble locations on clearance right now. Just check the remainder aisles in the children and/or adult sections. The tapes run $5.98 each.
