 Roumanian fairy tales
what a lovely site ! I've never been here before.. does anybody know of a book- in English- of Roumanian folk or fairy tales ? haven't been able to find one- and would like to locate one for two children (ages 7 and 9) whose grandmother is from Romania and was forced out as a child because of WWII..

'Gates of the Forest' by Elie Wiesel is a great reference for these children if you haven't already read it to them. It is a lovely essay on the power of storytelling by the Nobel Prize winner from the Transylvania part of Romania who survived the Nazi concentration camps as a boy.
