Books and More Books. (Warning donation petition within)
Hi all,
I really didnt find anywhere to put this.
If anyone is trying to get rid of old attic books or whatever, I might be intrested if they are, well, related to Mythology, Folklore and any other related subjects, any language will do.
The ultimate purpose down the line will be to donate them to a larger Library...
And yes I know, how difficult it is to part from books. I don't let go of mine much.
Thanks,
-Omar
PS. Anything else would be good, specially recordings of long dead lore.

Mobile library vs. donate?
One of my friends had this to say when I mentioned your post:
"...Kind of a mobile library, eh? I think it's cool. My friends and I used to do that; one of us would buy a book, read it and sign our name in the cover. Then the book would be passed/mailed to others who expressed interest. Every person would sign it after they were done so we knew who'd read it. Finally it would go back to the first person to become part of their library. Else, that person could give it to whomever wanted it. But whoever actually bought the book had dibs."
I think this is another wonderful idea, for those whose shelves
may be buckling. Then books we may not be able to find through our
libraries or net searches could be seen, read, cherished first hand-
even if only temporarily. Just a thought.
Sugarplum dreams,

books
I never part with mine, however in my desire for paper and print I occassionlly wind up with doubles. I have two copies of A Dictionary of Symbols and two copies of The Dictionary of Imaginary Places. You pay for shipping and they're yours.
Cheers.
