Announcement: Kerrie is a moderator!
Hello all,
Kerrie is the new official moderator on the Writer's Discussion forum on SurLaLune. I haven't put the time and effort into writer's forum that it has needed to keep it up-to-date and active. Taking over that role for me, Kerrie will be the official host and moderator, giving her the power to distribute the password to the private forum as well as edit and delete posts. We do not archive the posts on the other forum since they are your own writing and not for the internet's general consumption. This is also why the forum is password protected, so that only forum members can read your writing.
I will continue to moderate the general discussion forum--the forum we are currently on--including editing, archiving, deleting, and hosting.
If you have questions about the writer's forum, please direct your questions to Kerrie at kerrie@surlalunefairytales.com. She is willing, ready, and able, bless her!
All other questions about the site and this forum, the Fairy Tales and Folklore Discussion, should be sent to me at surlalune@aol.com. Please know that my inbox is quite full and immediate answers are not always possible. If your question is urgent, please state so in the subject line.

Heidi, Kerrie has been extremely helpful both on the board and to me individually as a writer. Good choice. I know you need the help with all the wonderful work you are doing on these boards and with the main page.
Kerrie, enjoy! This is one of those things you are so very good at!

Thank you Heidi, for giving me this honor! And thank you all, for your kind wishes! I hope we can get the ball rolling again, and produce some wonderful stories!
For those of you who haven't visited in a while, please note, posts older than 6 months will be deleted at the end of December. That is, any posts that are prior to June 31, 2002 will be deleted. I will try to get in touch with as many of you via email as possible before then to double check that you have all of the critiques in your files for reference.
As time goes on, I may enlist members of the Writers' Discussion Board for submissions for my fairy tale and folklore journal. You can check there or sign up to the mailing list for updates.

Fairy Tale and Folklore Writers' Group
It is a separate board where writers share their fairy tale and folklore inspired works for critique. Several of us have posted poems, ballads, short stories, etc inspired by tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, The Twa Sisters, The Snow Queen, and more.
