Friends, I'm looking for a corresponding fairytale or folktale for this 18th century ballad. The ballad tells of an unfaithful wife who abandons her babe and goes off to the sea with a handsome man. They drown. The ballad is number 243 in the F.J. Child collection

What I seek is a similar fairytale/ folktale. Any ideas out there?
