Ahh ...
Scroll down a little and see if the thread entitled "The significance of the number 3 in fairy tales" gives you what you're looking for ... if not, are you looking for some specific piece of information on the topic (i.e., relating to a parrticular tale)? Just out of curiousity, are you and Betty in the same class, or has this suddenly become a more popular topic than I'd been aware of?
Kiddingly,
Helen

Re: Ahh ...
Hi Helen,
The info you provided was very good and quite helpful. I need to write an entire page on the subject. Maybe if you had some examples of various fairy tales I could reference I might be able to get through an entire page. I appreciate any help you could provide.
Thanks,
Thomas

Really, when you think about it, so many many tales have 3s in them! I believe Rumpelstiltskin involves the repetitive name-guessing, there are 3 elements to the naming of Snow White, and many tales feature 3 brothers or 3 sisters (and sometimes multiples thereof). I'm a bit confused, though: are you just putting together a page-long outline to present to a class of preschoolers? What exactly is the project?
