I'm not entirely sure...
Well, there are definitely faery-tale *elements* in the Harry Potter books. I think it could go either way, in all honesty. I happen to love those books and most works in that genre of fiction have a great deal of faery-tale influence. I probably wouldn't jump on a soapbox and state flat-out that the Harry Potter books are faery-tales, but if we look at all books as having some kind of faery-tale
