Chicken Licken/Little
I have a few questions around the tale of Chicken Licken, or Little, who thought the sky was falling.

I've been able to trace this back to England in 1849, where the hero is called Chicken Licken, and escapes at the end.

Is there an earlier instance of this tale?
When did the version in which Chicken Licken is eaten by the fox emerge?
When does Henny Penny emerge as the alternative protagonist?
When does the version with "Chicken Little" as the name appear?
Is Chicken Little a specifically American variant?

Any help around this would be much appreciated
