an angle
Dear Quaz,

It would probably help if you could narrow down the subject- by concentrating on a single tale for instance. If you know very little about the subject, I reccomend you take a look at the work of Jack Zipes- there's a collection of Zipes' essays called When Dreams Came True. This will give you an idea of some of the central issues in the area. Then you'll be able to select a specific topic to focus on easily. You could trace the variants of a particular tale or you talk about modern adaptations (Heidi's Surlalune Fairy Tale site will be *very* useful if you choose to take this angle). Also online, you might want to look at the essays at the endicott studio-

Goodluck!

Karen.
