The 41 Volumes of the Contes des Fees
Dear Everyone:
I've heard and read frequent references to the 41 volumes of the contes. While I've voraciously devoured all of the D'aulnoy et al. that I've been able to get my hands upon, I doubt that I've found twenty volumes worth of stories, much less 41. Would anyone know whether it is possible to locate a complete anthology of the contents of those 41 volumes?
Enormously grateful,
Helen

Helen,
Unfortunately, I do not know of an extensive English translation of the volumes.
Does anyone else?

Which languages are they available in, then?
Would you happen to know of an anthology in some other language? I can read Russain, with some effort, and I'm planning to pick up French and (hopefully) German in the near future ... if there is an anthology in any of these languages (although the French is likeliest, I suppose) it would be well worth it to hunt one down.
Thanks,
Helen
