Tom Thumb? My first thought is "Tom Thumb" by Henry Fielding. It's one of those farces/satires like Swift's "Gullivers Travels". Though its been ages since I read it and I can'tbe sure if there is a goose!

thank you thank you very much
If there was not goose, maybe, it's not the story I am looking for
but the story you mentioned is truly good
To be more specific about the story I need is that it is mainly a travel of a tiny person with
a goose. The little boy was trasformed into a tiny person and he went on an adventure around
many country areas, likely in France, I can not remember better than that. The story is quite long,
written as a book, not sort of short story.
Any further help, I will be very appreciated

author's name I believe that the story you are referring to might be a Swedish
fantasy novel, entitled, The wonderful adventures of Nils by
Selma Lagerlof. I know that there is a goose that takes the
boy all over the world in this book.

Nils Francine,
Of course, you're absolutely right! The moment I saw the name I remembered the great Dover cover of the boy on the goose. A sort of fairytale geography lesson for naughty boys shrunk down to a manageable size.
